Meritorious Artist Bui Nhu Lai becomes the new Principal of Hanoi University of Theatre and Cinema

    Meritorious Artist Bui Nhu Lai was officially appointed as Principal of Hanoi University of Theatre and Cinema.

    On the afternoon of September 5, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong chaired the ceremony to present the Decision to recognize the position of Principal of Hanoi University of Theatre and Cinema.

    Accordingly, in Decision 3058/QD-BVHTTDL dated August 21, 2025, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism decided to recognize the position of Principal of Hanoi University of Theatre and Cinema for Meritorious Artist Bui Nhu Lai, Vice Principal of Hanoi University of Theatre and Cinema.

    Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong hoped that in his new position, Principal Bui Nhu Lai will promote his full potential, accompany the Hanoi University of Theatre and Cinema in building and affirming its prestige, focusing on improving the training quality of the school in the coming time, moving towards building Hanoi University of Theatre and Cinema into a key school in training in the field of acting and listening.

    Meritorious Artist Bui Nhu Lai said this is both an honor and a huge responsibility. He affirmed that he will strive to meet the requirements of the job in his new position.

    Meritorious Artist Bui Nhu Lai is a familiar face in the theater field. He was born in 1979, worked at the Youth Theater and participated in many plays.

    Bui Nhu Lai has a PhD in Arts.

    Recently, he has become more widely known to television audiences through a series of prime-time films directed by Meritorious Artist Vu Truong Khoa. Meritorious Artist Bui Nhu Lai is a good co-star of Meritorious Artist Thai Son in the film Upon the shade of the happy tree, My Father Remains.

    Before my father stayed, Meritorious Artist Bui Nhu Lai also took on the role of stage director for the Tao Quan 2025 program, receiving many compliments from the audience.
