According to iFeng, singer and actress Cuc Tinh Y recently filed a lawsuit against her former management company, Shanghai Siba Cultural Media Group (Siba Media).
She accused the company of forging a signature and arbitrarily signing an additional contract lasting up to 20 years.
Cuc Tinh Y's side believes that Siba Media has many lack of transparency, including hiding real income and not ensuring the rights of artists.
After the contract dispute caused a stir in public opinion, singer Tang Diem Phan - a member of the group SNH48 - publicly spoke out in support of Cuc Tinh Y. She said that Siba Media once pressured artists to participate in closed parties, take on controversial jobs, and even arrange for underage people to participate in alcohol reception activities.

The female singer also reflected on the disrespectful working environment, when employees were teased and offended, even having touching actions.
Chinese media reminds us of a private party at the home of Vuong Tu Thong - China's richest young master in 2014.
At the party, members of group SNH48 wore school uniforms, wore bunny ears, and danced around the young master.

The public also criticized Vuong Tu Thong and Siba Media company for disregarding women, considering members as products and shopping tools. Siba Media confirmed that the female singer had fabricated it and would sue her for defamation, affecting the company's reputation.
The dispute between Cuc Tinh Y and the former management company Siba continued to attract attention when legal documents on the exclusive contract were published. Siba said that he signed a contract with Cuc Tinh Y in 2013, supplemented in 2018, for a term of until 2033, including all rights to exploit the image and name.
The company affirmed that it has invested more than 160 million yuan (560 billion VND) in the artist's career and paid a total of 139 million yuan (500 billion VND) in pre-tax payments as of May 2024, along with agreed salary, vehicle and accommodation regimes.
Currently, Cuc Tinh Y is pursuing a lawsuit to terminate cooperation with her old management company, claiming that her development opportunities are limited. After leaving Siba Media, the female artist recorded a clear progress with many more quality fashion activities, advertisements and film projects.
