The jury, including experienced photographers from Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and Italy, judged the works at 4 different salons with different judges.
Photographer Tran Viet Van, reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, won 3 awards, of which the black and white work "Good Friend" won a Gold Medal at PhotoVivo salon and an incentive (Merit Awards) at Digirap salon while "Smile" - the Knowledge Bowl salon incentive award.
The contest is part of 12 rounds of Asia Super 12 and all photos that won Gold Medals in the rounds will be judged at the end of the year by a panel of 12 famous photographers from 12 countries to receive the Golden Dragon Photo Award from the Asian photography Federation.
