On July 1, Thuc Phan ward (Cao Bang province) officially came into operation like thousands of other communes and wards across the country.
In addition to stably organizing and being ready to serve the people, on the morning of July 1, the locality welcomed the first group of international tourists to visit and experience.
The welcoming ceremony was chaired by Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Committee. At the reception, the authorities presented flowers and supported the introduction of information about outstanding scenic spots of Cao Bang province such as Ban Gioc waterfall, Nguom Ngao cave, Thang Hen lake, Nui Thung...
At the same time, the delegation explored the beauty of the rich culture, cuisine and hospitable and affectionate people of Cao Bang. Tourists from Spain expressed their impression of the warm welcome of the locality.
The representative of the international delegation shared that they will return in the future and spread the image of Cao Bang to friends and relatives in their hometown.
Thuc Phan Ward aims to be an attractive tourist destination with rich culture and friendly people - worthy of being a destination not to be missed in the Northeast of Vietnam.
According to the arrangement decisions, Thuc Phan ward ( Administrative - political - commercial center) was merged from 5 old ward units: Hop Giang, Song Hien, De Tham, Hung Dao and Hoang Tung. The name of the ward is associated with the legend of An Duong Vuong, affirming its central position of the province.
Thuc Phan ward after the arrangement has a natural area of 55.44km2 with a population of 41,157 people. With its central location, Thuc Phan ward is the locality where the highest agencies such as the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council - Provincial People's Committee, workplaces of departments, branches, sectors... are located.
