On November 8, Japanese media reported that female idol Sana (member of Kpop group TWICE) attended an event held by luxury jewelry brand Graff in Tokyo.
Sana, who is in her second year as a Graff ambassador, stunned when she appeared in jewelry worth more than 7 billion yen (about 46 million USD).
At the event, Sana wore a 205.83-carat diamond necklace, with the 102.38-carat Meya Prosperity diamond as the main piece, a world first. In addition, the jewelry set included a ring, bracelet, and earrings, with a total weight of 252.05 carats.
François Graf, CEO of Graff, said that when this high jewelry masterpiece was completed, he immediately thought of Sana wearing the diamond on a special anniversary. Through this, the brand wanted to express its sincere gratitude to customers in Asia, including Japan.
With the $46 million jewelry set, Sana set a record for the celebrity wearing the most expensive jewelry set in the world. Previously, Sana wore a 5 billion yen ($33 million) Graff jewelry set at an event in Japan in November 2023.
Some celebrities wearing expensive jewelry include Carrie Underwood wearing a Johnathon Arndt necklace worth $31 million, Lady Gaga and Beyonce each wore a Tiffany & Co. necklace worth $30 million.
TWICE's beauty was appointed as the first Japanese ambassador of the Graff brand in July 2023. By June this year, Sana was promoted to the brand's Asian ambassador.
This "royal" jewelry company has brought female ambassador Sana to promote many collections such as Golden Diamond, Tilda's Bow, Graff's Butterfly, Pave Butterfly...
Sana is also currently the ambassador of several other luxury brands such as Prada and YSL Beauty Japan.
