However, Johnny Depp is embroiled in another lawsuit. He is preparing to appear in court for allegedly beating an employee on set for "City of Lies" in 2017. The 59-year-old actor can defend himself in court at the end of next month.
According to Fox News, it all started with a lawsuit in July 2018 by Gregg Rocky Brooks, a film crew employee. This person accused Depp of getting angry and punching him twice in the left rib.
The conflict was witnessed by the film crew. The list of witnesses to the lawsuit announced by the court includes familiar names: Christi Debrowski - Depp's sister, bodyguard Sean Bettman, Waldman and sales director Ed White.
These people all stood up to witness Depp at the shocking trial of his ex-wife.
In April 2017, Gregg Brooks announced that the crew of "City of Lies" had to complete filming before 11pm due to limited filming locations. The entire crew followed the announcement but Depp reacted.
In the lawsuit, Brooks accused Johnny Depp of being obstructed and uncomfortable. The male employee also said that he was scolded and scolded by Depp: "Who are you? You don't have the right to tell me to do what you want." Brooks said he tried to stay calm and explain the problem but to no avail.
