On January 26, Hue City Department of Tourism said that the "Phu Xuan Tet - Kinh Ky Flavor" program will take place from February 2nd to February 8th, 2026 in Phu Xuan ward, Hue City.
On January 25, Phu Xuan Ward People's Committee (Hue City) organized the "Tet Phu Xuan - Kinh Ky Flavor" program in 2026, a traditional Tet space imbued with Hue Capital's cultural imprint, promising to become a unique cultural rendezvous for people and tourists in the days leading up to Tet. The program will take place at prominent locations such as Thuong Bac Park, Quoc Tu Giam Stadium, Ham Nghi Stadium and 23 Thang 8 street, the city center area.
With the theme "Kinh Ky Flavor", the program will recreate the historical and cultural beauty of Hue through brilliant landscape spaces, meticulously arranged with models of Binh Ngo mascots and typical decorative flower gardens. The highlight of "Vi" will be traditional Tet jam dishes such as ginger jam, lotus jam, imbued with the sweet flavor of the land of the Kinh.
In addition, the program also organizes traditional Tet experience activities, such as making banh chung, making jam, making to he, writing calligraphy, and folk games such as pot smashing, stilt jumping, archery. Visitors will also participate in picking spring fortune, enjoying calligraphy and receiving typical products of Hue Tet.
In addition to experiential spaces, the program also has community cultural and artistic activities, especially a series of art programs taking place in three nights at the Quoc Tu Giam heritage space. The opening night will take place on February 6, 2026, ending with a grand music festival on February 8, with the participation of famous artists such as Meritorious Artist Van Khanh, singers Long Nhat, Minh Anh, Quang Hung MasterD, DJ Hino and many young singers.
The program "Tet Phu Xuan - Sac Vi Kinh Ky" is expected to create a community cultural activity space, while promoting the beauty of Hue traditional Tet, contributing to preserving and spreading the intangible cultural values of the Central region.
