Thanh Huong appeared with actors Manh Dung, Thanh Son, Anh Tho in the contest "Road to the top of Olym Thien Cung" to recruit talented people organized by the Jade Emperor and Heaven.
Unlike the competitions that used to be held at the year-end meetings at Thien Dinh such as Tao Idol, Hoa Tao, Who is the assistant, Vong quay tham quyen... the veteran Taos usually had to participate in the competition as contestants, this year, at "Duong len dinh Olym Thien Cung", the Taos sat in the judges' position.
Worried that talented contestants will take their seats, the "old" Tao cast asked a series of questions with the sole purpose of setting traps, making things difficult, and "drown the talented people".
The talent competition of the “contestants” with the participation of Thanh Huong, Thanh Son, Manh Dung, Anh Tho was brief. They had only passed less than 2 rounds before being blocked by the “old” Tao cast, unable to move on to the Speed Up and Finish rounds.
With a small role and little screen time, Thanh Huong shared: “If there are opinions about my role being small and having little screen time... I don’t see any problem, because the role is really small and has little screen time, and it cannot be “blown up”. For me, being able to play Tao Quan - a program that my family and I have loved for a long time - is a joy and a pride. When I was able to participate, I tried my best to play my role well so as not to affect the Tao cast who plays the main role”.
According to Thanh Huong, she, Trung Ruoi (Ha Trung), Manh Dung, Do Duy Nam... the young actors all made an effort when standing on the same stage with veteran artists.
“I really like Tu Long’s acting. Van Dung is versatile and sharp. Chi Trung’s acting is profound, each line is emphasized, bringing a message. Quang Thang has a sense of humor as if it is a quality that has been ingrained in him... I also like the charm of Trung Ruoi or Do Duy Nam. I learn a lot from them. Above all, I feel lucky to be able to participate in Tao Quan” - Thanh Huong said.
Talking to Lao Dong reporter, both Thanh Huong and artist Van Dung said that Tao Quan is a collective of solidarity, love, and respect for each other. They do not distinguish between main and supporting roles, big and small roles, or whether they act a lot or a little.
“In our acting profession, we measure success by the work, by the efforts of the whole team. The length of time you stand on stage is not important, the most important thing is what you leave for the audience. We all tried our best to make Tao Quan the best it could be, the best it could be, bringing laughter to the audience on New Year's Eve. After the show airs, all praise, criticism, evaluation, and comments belong to the audience" - artist Van Dung said.
Thanh Huong expressed her admiration for the "old" Tao cast. "No one can replace them. Each of them has their own acting style, suitable for their roles, they juggle well, understand each other's every word. Replacing them is very difficult. They are examples for us to learn from" - Thanh Huong said.
