    Before reuniting at Running Man Vietnam season 3, Tran Thanh - Lan Ngoc - Anh Tu Atus had a collaboration in the movie "Cua lai vo bau". This movie premiered in theaters on the 1st day of Tet 2019 directed by Nhat Trung.

    Cua lai cua bau" swept through Tet theaters in 2019, reaching a revenue milestone of nearly 200 billion VND - the record of that time. "Cua lai cua bau" maintained this revenue record for quite a long time until it was knocked down by other films.

    Thanks to "Cua lai vo bau", Tran Thanh once held the record for owning 5 works in the list of 10 highest-grossing films, including films he produced and participated in acting. Currently, Tran Thanh is the director of 4 highest-grossing works in the top 10 highest-grossing films of all time.

    Cua lai vo bau" revolves around the long-term love affair between Trong Thoai (Tran Thanh) and Nha Linh (Ninh Duong Lan Ngoc). Everything begins to change, changing when Quy Khanh (Anh Tu Atus) - an old classmate who used to like Nha Linh suddenly appears. Things become more complicated when Nha Linh becomes pregnant and trapped between two men because they don't know who the father of the baby is.

    After "Cua lai vo bau", Anh Tu Atus and Tran Thanh, Lan Ngoc did not have any more collaborative films. Tran Thanh switched direction to directing and producing, he was once asked why he was close to Ninh Duong Lan Ngoc but had not invited her to any roles in the films he directed and produced. Tran Thanh said that the first criterion for him to choose actors is suitability for the role.
