The songwriting contest to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day, after more than 3 months of launching, has received the response of many musicians and authors from all over the country with 128 works.
9 excellent works were selected for the Final Round of the Contest. The Organizing Committee awarded 3 Second prizes (worth 50 million VND/prize) to the works "Hai Phong is glorious and shines" by author Huynh Tan Phat (Dak Lak province), "Hai Phong - Continuing the epic" by author Nguyen Duc Hoai (Hai Phong city), "Hai Phong cua minh" by author Nguyen Van Dat (Chonhon: Nguyen Hoang Phong, Hung Yen province).
3 Third prizes (worth 30 million VND/prize) went to the songs "70 years of Hai Phong liberation" by author Nguyen Duy Thai (Hai Phong city), "Hai Phong the rising wave" by author Dinh Nghi (Lam Dong province), "Remember the city of phoenix" by author Le Hai Dang (Ho Chi Minh city).
The Organizing Committee awarded 3 Encouragement prizes (worth 10 million VND/prize) to the works "Return to Hai Phong" by Nguyen Duy Tan, lyrics by Le Van Hung (Hoa Cuc Vang) (Ho Chi Minh City), "Hai Phong Van Thuong" by author Nguyen Thi Chinh (Hanoi City), "The Waves of Hai Phong" by Vu Manh Cuong, lyrics by Tran Nhat Minh (Hanoi City).
