On the evening of June 27, the fifth night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2026 took place on the banks of the Han River with the theme "Vision", marking the closing of the qualifying round of this year's festival season. Two fireworks teams Skylighter Fireworks (Australia) and Macedos Pirotecnia (Portugal) brought special performances, showing two different artistic styles.
The Australian team chose to tell a story about aspirations and the spirit of conquest through the combination of fireworks and familiar international hits. Firework effects are deployed in rhythm, from gentle fireworks to simultaneous shots covering the sky, creating a brilliant and emotional space.
Meanwhile, the Portuguese team - who won the "Most Creative" award at DIFF 2025 - continued to affirm their strength with a dense performance with many modern shooting techniques combined with traditional firecrackers. The layers of light continuously connect each other, synchronized with music, creating impressive climaxes in the Han River sky.
According to the Organizing Committee, all tickets for the competition night were sold out before the opening ceremony. Before the increasing number of spectators, the A4 stand with more than 2,000 seats was put into use earlier than expected. The area along the Han River and many central city bridges also attracted a large number of people and tourists to watch.
Besides fireworks, the art program with the participation of singer Duc Phuc and many domestic artists contributed to creating a vibrant atmosphere, connecting music with the theme of the competition night.
Closing the qualifying round with continuous explosive performances, DIFF 2026 is now entering the most anticipated stage. The final night on July 11 will gather the two best teams of the season in the final competition to conquer the championship.
