Based on the report of the Council to assess the status and propose a plan to restore national treasures of the Nguyen Dynasty Throne, the Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee directed the Hue Monuments Conservation Center to quickly develop a plan to restore national treasures of the Nguyen Dynasty Throne according to the provisions of the Law on Cultural Heritage and the instructions of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the Hue Monuments Conservation Center to apply modern science and technology to analyze and determine the accuracy of raw materials, the time for restoration and additional preservation through the periods to choose a solution to restore this national treasure.
Prioritize the use of traditional technology and techniques based on closely following the foundations, current status and making the most of the materials that are broken throne pieces collected to ensure scientificity and sustainability.
The Hue Monuments Conservation Center can consider consulting with conservation experts to collect additional information and choose the best solution to restore the national treasure of the Nguyen Dynasty Emperor.
The Hue Monuments Conservation Center is assigned to coordinate with the National Archives Center and individual organizations to research, supplement information, and digitize data on national treasures.
As Lao Dong reported, at noon on May 24, Ho Van Phuong T. (born in 1983, residing in Hue City) suddenly crossed the fence, encroached on the national treasure area of the Nguyen Dynasty throne at Thai Hoa Palace, sat on the throne, took off his shirt and broke the left armrest.
The security force controlled and handed over T to Hue City Police. T. was once taken to a compulsory drug rehabilitation facility and is currently being assessed for psychiatric examination.
On June 1, the Investigation Police Agency of Hue City Police initiated a criminal case, prosecuted the accused, and temporarily detained Ho Van Phuong T. for 3 months for the act of intentionally damaging property under Point c, Clause 2, Article 178 of the Penal Code.
