According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, from 6:30 p.m., although the weather in Dien Bien province these days has turned cold (about 12 degrees Celsius), many people, from the elderly to the young, have equipped warm clothes and sweaters to go to the 7/5 Square area (Dien Bien Phu ward) to watch the screening of the movie Red Rain.
Accordingly, at exactly 7:00 p.m., on a large outdoor LED screen, realistic footage of Red Rain began to be shown. The large space of the square seemed to calm down.
A representative of Viettel Dien Bien (the film screening unit) said that the organizing committee has arranged 1,000 seats for people to watch and experience the outdoor cinema atmosphere.

According to the reporter's records, all 1,000 seats were filled. Many people later proactively prepared their personal chairs, many of whom did not hesitate to sit on the platform to watch the film.
The red rain was built from the inspiration of the 81-day and night battle to protect Quang Tri ancient citadel in 1972, a bright symbol of revolutionary heroism.
Many viewers in Dien Bien expressed their emotions at the images and details depicted in the film.

After the film screening, Ms. Lo Thi Trang (Dien Bien Phu ward) said that although the weather was very cold, when she heard that there was a free film screening, she invited her family to go watch it early.
According to Ms. Trang, watching the film in the cold weather is even more appreciative of the hard sacrifices of our ancestors in the past.
Sitting here to watch movies with hundreds of people, I feel very proud and moved. This is the most historical and meaningful way to educate the younger generation" - Ms. Trang said.

The film screening unit said that the adjustment of the location from the Provincial Cultural Conference Center to 7/5 Square has created a spacious community living space, meeting the enjoyment needs of the majority of people.
It is known that the Red Rain film screening will continue to take place at 7:00 p.m. on November 30 at 7/5 Square. Previously, Viettel Dien Bien organized film screenings in many communes such as Muong Nhe, Tua Chua, Na Son...
