Artist Cong Quoc Ha was born in 1955 in Hanoi and is one of the typical artists of Vietnamese lacquer art. He graduated from the Hanoi University of Industrial Fine Arts. In addition to art, he is also an inspiration to many generations of young artists. He has received many prestigious awards and is known to the public for his paintings of Hanoi girls and Hanoi's Old Quarter.

In 2012, artist Cong Quoc Ha lived and worked in Sweden with his family. He returned to Hanoi in 2022 to continue working with his passion for creation.
