On the afternoon of September 3, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province Nguyen Thuy Phuong Hieu said that during the 4-day National Day holiday of September 2 (from August 31 to September 3), the entire Dak Lak province welcomed about 130,000 tourists to visit with many new records.
Specifically, the number of visitors to Dak Lak this year increased by 168.04% over the same period in 2023. International visitors are estimated at 2,500, up 194.12% over the same period in 2023. The total number of tourist accommodation is estimated at 75,000, up 188.46% over the same period in 2023.
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the number of tourists coming to Dak Lak this year has increased sharply thanks to favorable weather for recreational activities.
Especially during the holiday, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province organized the 3rd Gong Culture Festival in 2024 on August 31 and September 1.
This event attracted nearly 600 artisans and extras from troupes from 13 districts, towns and cities in Dak Lak province.
