The program aims to review the heroic history of the people of Hanoi Capital and the country; spreading the great meaning of Capital Liberation Day, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere for a large number of party officials and members of all walks of life, and the armed forces in the city and the whole country.
At the same time, propagate and promote the culture of a thousand years of civilization and the glorious, heroic, peaceful, and friendly historical traditions of Thang Long - Hanoi to the people; Strengthen the introduction and promotion of the Capital's image and position with domestic localities and international friends. This also affirms Hanoi City's event organizing capacity to implement Resolution No. 09-NQ/TU on cultural industry development in the city.
The program will be held at 8:00 p.m. on October 10, 2024 at My Dinh National Stadium with an expected scale of about 25,000 people, with the theme "Hanoi - City of Peace - City of Flying Dragons".
The program is broadcast live on VTV channel - Vietnam Television.
Regarding the program content, the opening part is a welcome performance: Independent country - Liberated capital.
The second part is a special art program with 3 chapters: Hanoi - The heroic years; Hanoi - Thousand years of civilization; Hanoi - City of Peace - City of Flying Dragons.
The third part will demonstrate light technology using unmanned devices (drone).
The fourth part is high-altitude fireworks combined with low-altitude fireworks and firebending.
