On April 24, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center said that on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the unit will organize many unique cultural activities, opening the Hue Imperial City for free at night to serve people and tourists.
Accordingly, from April 26 to May 1, 2025, Hue Imperial City will be open for evening tours from 6pm to 9:30pm. Free opening spots include: Thieu Phuong Garden, Co Ha Garden and Phu Noi Vu.
Many cultural and artistic activities will be held in the sparkling royal space. At Thieu Phuong garden, a hoaxi exhibition will take place, performing and introducing tea ceremony art.
Co Ha garden will be a place to display ornamental plants and ornamental stones. Phu Noi Vu organizes exhibitions of traditional handicraft products, craft village experiences and Hue cuisine introduction activities.
In particular, from April 26, at Hue Stadium, the Center will organize a fireworks display and fireworks display. This program will be maintained periodically every Saturday night and major holidays.
To ensure the organization, the Center recommends that people and tourists when visiting Dai Noi at night should enter from Hien Nhon gate, park their motorbikes on Doan Thi Diem street and cars at Eo Bau Nam Xuong parking lot according to the instructions of the authorities.
The Hue Department of Tourism said that on the occasion of the April 30 - May 1 holiday this year, people will have 5 consecutive days off (from April 30 to May 4). The city is expected to welcome about 150,000 visitors, with total tourism revenue estimated at 300 billion VND.
In order to best serve the sightseeing and resort needs of people and tourists, the Hue tourism industry is coordinating with relevant agencies to implement solutions to ensure security, order, environmental sanitation, food safety and stabilize service prices.
