Nghe An - Regarding the discovery of 18 skulls and many remains, many remains of fossil bones were discovered and were larger than normal human bones.

On April 27, information from the People's Committee of Nghia Dan district (Nghe An province) said that the police and functional units of Nghe An province have just completed the excavation of the Len Chua grotto area (Nghia Thanh commune, Nghia Dan district) - where in recent days many human skeletons, limbs and skulls have been discovered.

According to the excavation results, the authorities continued to find some more skulls and many other pieces of bone and limb.

Notably, many of these bone specimens have been fossilised and are larger than normal human bones. Currently, all the bones are gathered for examination, while experts from the Ministry of Public Security are conducting tests and calculating the age.

Another unexpected development, according to local people, was before the discovery of bones when a group of strangers entered the cave. Ms. Hien (in Thap Bai hamlet, Nghia Thanh commune) said that at noon on April 12, she encountered a group of 4 people who seemed to have just dug something near the grotto. When asking, the group replied that they were working nearby and had a vehicle left in the cave.

Information about the group of strangers was also confirmed by Mr. Huong (in Lien Hiep 2 hamlet). According to Mr. Tien (born in 1980, residing in Tan Thanh hamlet), the first person to discover the incident, on the morning of April 23, while following the trail to Len Chua cave, he discovered a skull lying in the cave. His feelings were unusual, he returned to invite more people and continued to find a second skull before reporting to the police.

Previously, on April 23, Nghia Thanh Commune Police received a report about the discovery of many pieces of bone that were almost completely decomposed in Len Chua Cave. Immediately, local police forces coordinated with Nghe An Provincial Police to block off the scene and launch a large-scale investigation.

Initially, the authorities determined that there were a total of 18 skulls and many other bone sections at the scene. The professional units of the Ministry of Public Security have urgently stepped in to assess the origin, age and clarify the nature of the incident.

The case is currently under investigation with many doubts about the origin of the bones, the persecution of a group of strangers and the possibility of being related to complicated historical or archaeological cases.
