In the last days of the year, the Lung market area becomes busier than usual. From early morning to late afternoon, the flow of people coming to the flower market is increasing day by day. On both sides of the road, the color of flowers stretches out, motorbikes move slowly amidst the crowd of shoppers, creating a familiar scene every Tet holiday approaches.
Flowers stretching along both sides of the road, brilliant in the crowd of shoppers
Right from the morning, flower stalls were busy unloading goods, arranging bouquets of lilies, chrysanthemums, roses, peach branches along both sides of the walkway. The mist-filled flower boxes were neatly placed on styrofoam boxes and plastic pots; in front, people stopped their cars, chose, and bargained.

At many road sections, the flow of vehicles is slow due to the increased number of people flocking in. Many families take advantage of going early to choose a satisfactory bouquet of flowers before prices increase close to Tet. Types of pink lilies, yellow chrysanthemums, red carnations, cluster roses... are displayed for sale in large quantities, serving the needs of home decoration and incense offering.

Purchasing power gradually increases as Tet approaches
According to small traders, since after December 23rd of the lunar calendar, the number of customers coming to the market has increased significantly. Flowers are imported continuously to meet shopping needs. Bouquets of flowers are pre-packaged in white paper, arranged in clusters highlighting red, yellow, pink, and light blue - familiar colors of spring.
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Ms. Nguyen Thu Hang (Gia Vien ward, Hai Phong) said that every year her family goes to the market early to choose satisfactory flowers. She often buys individually or bundles to conveniently display in the living room and altar.
I often choose gladiolus flowers to add red color to Tet, which has been a habit for many years. Being busy at the end of the year, I prioritize durable and easy-to-care for flowers to be played for a long time," Ms. Hang shared.
The typical busy atmosphere of the days leading up to Tet
Not only a place to buy and sell, Lung flower market these days has also become a familiar rendezvous for Hai Phong people every Tet holiday. The sound of exchange, bargaining, and motorbikes weaving through the stalls blends into the brilliant colors of flowers, creating a vivid picture of urban life.

Amidst the busy pace of life, the image of people carrying large bouquets of flowers and long peach branches behind motorbikes evokes the feeling that Tet has come very soon. Spring colors are therefore present not only in each house but also spread right on the streets and market corners of the Port city.
