Based on the results of the step 1 approval meeting, the Arts Council agreed to select the TD.03 statue model. The expected scale and volume of the monument to world cultural celebrity and great poet Nguyen Du includes: 1.55m high statue pedestal; The statue is about 3.6 meters high.
The monument is made of gold-copper alloy and the statue's core frame is made of stainless steel. The pedestal of the statue is reinforced concrete and covered with natural stone. The statue is located at Nguyen Du flower garden, Thuong Tin town.
At the meeting on the afternoon of August 3, experts and scientists exchanged many opinions and comments on the step 2 model to proceed to acceptance and carry out the next steps.
Sculptor Nguyen Phu Cuong - former Deputy Director of the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions, commented that the step 2 statue model has a beautiful layout, a sturdy sitting posture, and a close image.

Concluding the meeting, Secretary of the Thuong Tin District Party Committee Nguyen Tien Minh suggested that the authors research and receive opinions to edit the statue model in step 2. The statue will be placed on a hilltop about 4 meters high, the surrounding space is a place for cultural activities, exchanges, physical education, sports... to serve people, especially students.
Based on the results of the conference, the locality will arrange and arrange the layout of items in the space of Nguyen Du flower garden in Thuong Tin town. After the conclusion of the meeting, the sculptor group plans to cast the statue at the end of October 2024, moving it to its location in December 2024.
