The project is a step to concretize the implementation of the Resolution of the Yen Bai Provincial People's Council, term XIX, passed at the 17th Session "Regulating a number of policies to support sending workers to work abroad and students to work abroad." Participate in the training cooperation program between vocational education institutions in the area and foreign colleges and universities in Yen Bai province, period 2024-2026".
The project aims to improve the quality and efficiency of sending Vietnamese workers to work abroad, thereby transforming the labor structure, improving income and life for workers, especially workers in foreign countries. rural areas, especially difficult areas.
The specific goal of the Project to strive for the period 2024-2030 is for the whole province to send 10,000 people to work abroad under long-term contracts (1 year or more) and short-term contracts (less than 1 year), studying abroad. students participating in cooperative training programs (on average, over 1,400 people/year).
Accordingly, Yen Bai will support 7,500 workers working abroad under long-term contracts (1 year or more); Support workers to work abroad on a short-term basis (less than 1 year) under a cooperation program between localities of at least 2,000 people; Pupils and students subject to exchange under training cooperation programs between public vocational education institutions in the province and foreign colleges and universities are 50 people.
