On the morning of March 19, information from the People's Committee of Thong Thu commune, Nghe An province said that so far the locality has been ready for the groundbreaking ceremony of the Inter-level Boarding School for Primary and Secondary School in the area. Basic preparations have been completed, and the remaining tasks are being urgently reviewed and matched by agencies and units to ensure that the ceremony takes place on schedule.
According to the report, the Thong Thu Inter-level Boarding School project is built in Dong Moi village, on an area of about 4 hectares, with an expected scale of 31 classes with more than 1,000 students.

Currently, relevant units are continuing to update and complete the program script; grasp the list of delegates attending, create seating arrangement diagrams, complete logistics, reception and related contents as required.
Thong Thu commune has a natural area of 706.75 km2. To the East and North borders Thanh Hoa province; to the South borders Tien Phong and Chau Tien communes; to the West borders the Lao PDR, with a border line of 33.737 km long. The whole commune has 14 villages, hamlets, 1,922 households with 8,481 people; there are 3 main ethnic groups: Thai, Kinh, Tho and some other ethnic groups, of which Thai ethnic people account for 97%.
From the Thong Thu bridge point, on the morning of March 19, Nghe An province will simultaneously start construction of 11 inter-level boarding schools in border communes. In addition to the main bridge point in Thong Thu commune, the remaining 10 points are located in My Ly, Son Lam, Nam Can, Muong Tip, Tam Quang, Na Loi, Tien Phong, Muong Xen, Chau Khe and Kim Bang communes.
According to the People's Committee of Nghe An province, preparations for the groundbreaking ceremony at the schools have been completed.
The simultaneous commencement of construction of 11 inter-level boarding schools in Nghe An aims to concretize the policy of building schools in border areas, creating better learning and training conditions for students in mountainous areas and ethnic minority areas; and at the same time contributing to human resource development and consolidating security and defense on the border line.
