In the bustling atmosphere of preparing to welcome the new year, on February 15 (the 28th of the Lunar New Year), the My Tu Commune Administrative Service Center (Can Tho City) still maintained working all day Sunday to receive and resolve administrative procedures for people.

Accordingly, the Center works from 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM and from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM. Receiving areas include civil status registration (birth registration, death registration, marriage, confirmation of marital status, change, correction, supplementation of civil status), excerpts of civil status copies, contract authentication, transactions under authority and health insurance. Dossiers are received directly at the Center or through the Public Service Portal as prescribed.
On this special working day, leaders of the Commune People's Committee, the Office of the Commune People's Committee and officials of the Public Administrative Service Center directly receive, guide, and process dossiers for people.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Tri - Vice Chairman of My Tu Commune People's Committee (Can Tho City), said that organizing one more working day during Tet clearly shows the spirit of the government serving the people, creating favorable conditions for people who go to work far away to return to their hometowns to resolve administrative procedures.
Accordingly, many workers working in industrial parks; workers in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai... as well as people studying and working far from home only have the opportunity to return to their localities during Tet. If not resolved during this time, they are forced to take leave, incur additional travel costs or wait a very long time to complete procedures.
We directly sign dossiers both directly and on the electronic system on the same day. Qualified dossiers are resolved and results are returned immediately. Some cases that need further verification will be scheduled for results to be returned after Tet in accordance with regulations," Mr. Tri informed.

Also according to Mr. Tri, working overtime for 1 day helps reduce social costs, reduce time pressure for people, and promptly resolve necessary documents such as birth registration, marital status confirmation, certification and other administrative procedures.
