The project was approved by Son La Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 1714 dated August 21, 2024, recovering about 4,660m2 of land.
The project affects 54 households and individuals to complete traffic route 1A and the flower garden of Northwest Square.
To date, the compensation and support plan has been approved for 54 households and 1 organization, with an area of 3,344.9m2, total cost of more than 141 billion VND. Of which, 135.13 billion VND has been paid to 48/54 households.
According to records, 45/54 houses in the project area have been demolished. To Hieu Ward is continuing to urge the remaining households to move assets, dismantle works, and hand over land.
Site clearance is carried out according to the motto "to where, hand over and deploy construction to there", to ensure project progress.


On August 12, in the construction area, the implementing unit erected corrugated iron fences, organized the ground, ensuring safety during construction and serving site clearance work.
Units are accelerating progress, striving to complete, hand over and put the project into use before October 10, 2026, to celebrate the 131st anniversary of the establishment of Son La province and the second Coffee Festival.
