On August 11, the Department of Education and Training of Son La province said that it will organize the inauguration of 3 inter-level boarding schools in Muong Hung, Yen Son and Long Phieng communes on the morning of August 20.
These are school projects being implemented in the border area, aiming to complete educational facilities and meet the learning needs of students in the area.
As of the end of August 6, 13 inter-level boarding school projects in the province reached from 76% - 97% of the volume. Of which, 6/13 schools have completed the rough construction and are implementing completion items.
The total approved capital for building 13 schools is nearly 3,300 billion VND, and so far disbursement has reached about 64%.
According to the plan, the remaining 10 schools are expected to be inaugurated on September 5, associated with the new school year opening ceremony. The investor and construction units are continuing to mobilize manpower and machinery to accelerate progress.
Son La province requires the construction process to ensure quality, labor safety, construction hygiene, and fully meet the conditions for handover and putting schools into use.
For the inauguration ceremony, departments, branches and localities are required to urgently complete the organization plan; prepare facilities, ceremonies, ensure security and order, environmental sanitation and welcoming art programs.
Localities will also mobilize students and people to participate, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere on the inauguration day of school projects in border areas.
