On the morning of December 10, Military Region 2 organized the handover of 60 resettlement houses in Ma Mu Su 1 village, Den Sang commune.
Early in the morning, people from all over the villages gathered in the resettlement area to celebrate with the households that officially received their new houses.
On the hill area of more than 3.5 hectares, the rows of houses are built along the level road, evoking the familiar terraced fields of the highlands, creating a space that is both close and spacious.

Attending the handover ceremony were leaders of Military Region 2, Lao Cai Provincial Military Command, Division 316, Corporation 789 and the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Den Sang Commune. The project is supported by the Ministry of National Defense, invested by Military Region 2, constructed by 789 Corporation, with the participation of officers and soldiers of Regiment 174.

Thanks to continuous work according to the motto of overcoming the sun and overcoming the rain, 60 traditional houses of the Mong people with technical infrastructure have been completed to meet requirements.

Colonel Nguyen Minh Hai - Deputy General Director of 789 Corporation - said that the implementation process encountered many difficulties, but the determination of the workers helped the project reach the finish line on schedule, creating a safe place to live for people in flooded areas. For many households, including Mr. Sung A Giang's family, the new house is a great support after a long time of living insecurely due to the risk of landslides.
