On February 12, information from the Long Thanh District People's Committee said that it had approved resettlement arrangements for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway project for 812 households. Of these, 768 households have been resettled, while 44 households are being reviewed for lottery.
The total number of households considered and arranged for resettlement under the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project is 1,689 households.
Regarding temporary housing support, up to now, the locality has approved support plans for 357 cases with an amount of more than 5.6 billion VND.
To resettle households whose land was acquired for the construction of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway, Long Thanh district is implementing two resettlement areas.
Long Duc resettlement area in Long Duc commune, Long Thanh district has about 843 plots of land. Currently, the volume of implementation of traffic, trees, rainwater, wastewater, water supply, lighting, underground technical pipeline system of medium and low voltage power grid and telecommunications has been basically completed. Resettled households have built resettlement houses and organized their lives.
Long Phuoc resettlement area in Long Phuoc commune, Long Thanh district has about 1,048 plots of land. The total construction volume has reached 76% (traffic leveling, storm water drainage, wastewater, electricity, water supply). Up to now, the work of marking plots has been ensured to serve people in building resettlement houses.
Previously, on February 11, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha and the working delegation inspected the site clearance work and construction capacity of contractors at component projects 1 and 2 of Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway.
Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha said that the issue that Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee is particularly concerned about is that the progress of resettlement areas must be faster than the progress of construction projects to serve the resettlement of people, the quality of resettlement must be good and be given top priority.
The Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project passes through Long Thanh district, 28 km long, with a total reclaimed area of nearly 230 hectares.
In which, component project 1 - Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway reclaims more than 78 hectares of land passing through Long An, Long Duc, An Phuoc, Loc An communes, Long Thanh town with a length of nearly 10 km.
Component project 2 - Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway reclaims more than 151 hectares passing through Long An, Long Phuoc, Phuoc Thai, Tan Hiep, Phuoc Binh communes with a length of more than 18 km.
