    Hai Phong - The Traffic Safety Board has just announced the cause of the serious accident that killed an 84-year-old woman.

    The incident occurred at about 5:41 pm on December 25th on the southbound road in Thuy Son 5 residential group, Thuy Nguyen ward. At this time, a car driven by Mr. N.T.A (born in 1995, residing in Kien Bai 1 residential group, Thien Huong ward) traveling in the direction of provincial road 359 - provincial road 352 collided with Ms. L.T.X (born in 1941, residing in Thuy Son 6 residential group, Thuy Nguyen) who was walking across the road. As a result, Ms. X was seriously injured. At 4 am on December 26th, Ms. X died.

    Functional agencies determined that the preliminary cause was Ms. X crossing the road improperly. Driver A lacked observation in front, causing a traffic accident. In addition, traffic inadequacies when street lights operate late also affect the visibility of road users.

    The case was verified and handled by functional agencies according to regulations.
