Of which, 2 houses had their tiled roofs blown off, 1 house had its cement roof blown off. Fortunately, there were no casualties. Currently, the leaders of Binh Hai Commune People's Committee have directed the local shock force to repair and overcome the consequences for the affected households.

According to Mr. Ngo Van Thinh, the tornado completely blew off the roof of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam's house (in Thanh Thuy village); about 40% of the roof of Mr. Nguyen Cu's house (in Thanh Thuy village) and about 50% of the roof of Mr. Tieu Ngoc Thanh's house (in Phuoc Thien village). In addition, a number of trees were blown down in the commune.

Provincial leaders also requested localities and units to be ready to evacuate people in dangerous areas and set up warning signs in flooded areas; inspect constructions, reservoirs, and clear obstacles on rivers and streams to ensure flood drainage.

Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper reporter, Mr. Nham Xuan Sy - Director of the Hydrometeorological Station of Quang Ngai province said that due to the influence of the tropical depression, the sea area of ​​Quang Ngai province (including Ly Son island district) has north to northwest winds at level 5, level 6, gusting to level 7, rough seas. From the afternoon and night of September 18 to 19, the sea area will have strong winds of level 6 - 7, gusting to level 8 - 9, especially paying attention to the coastal area in the north of the province in Binh Son district, Quang Ngai city. All ships operating at sea are likely to be affected by strong winds and big waves. Due to the influence of the tropical depression circulation, on the mainland and sea areas of Quang Ngai province, it is necessary to pay attention to the risk of thunderstorms, whirlwinds and strong gusts.
