Traffic police (CSGT) are strengthening patrols and handling cases of cars stopping and parking in violation of regulations on Giai Phong street (Hanoi), especially in the area near hospital gates and schools to ensure traffic order and safety and limit congestion.


On May 13, in front of the gate of Bach Mai Hospital, the task force of Road Traffic Police Team No. 4 - Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police discovered and made records to fine many violating drivers.
Such as the case of driver V.N. T (born 1988, from Hung Yen) driving car BKS 15K-027. xx being recorded and fined by the traffic police force for stopping and parking at a no-parking sign on Giai Phong street (section of Bach Mai Hospital gate).
Working with the task force, driver T said that he had just taken his family to the hospital for emergency treatment. Because he was not familiar with the roads, he turned on the emergency light and stayed to rest in the car.



According to the commander of Road Traffic Police Team No. 4, Giai Phong road is a vital traffic route in the southern gateway area of the Capital, with high traffic volume, especially during peak hours. The route concentrates many universities and large hospitals, so the travel and pick-up and drop-off needs of people are very high.
Illegal parking behavior not only causes traffic obstruction but also poses a potential risk of unsafety for pedestrians.
According to statistics from the Hanoi Traffic Police Department, from May 1, 2026 to now, the entire city's traffic police force has handled 3,193 cases of illegal parking violations, including 668 passenger cars, 375 trucks, 1,943 cars, 173 motorbikes and 36 other vehicles.
In the coming time, the Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police will continue to strengthen patrols and inspections, focusing on strictly handling acts of illegal parking and stopping in hospitals, schools, bus stations and key traffic routes to prevent congestion and ensure traffic order and safety in the Capital.
