The Border Guard force of Son La province has just continued to crack down on a drug trafficking case from the border area into the inland, arresting a subject along with a large amount of opium resin and synthetic drugs.
According to information from the Border Guard Command of Son La province, at about 10:30 pm on April 18, in Keo Muong village, Phieng Khoai commune, the force participating in the SL126. 2 Special Case arrested Giang A PoLo (born 1998, residing in Long Cang village, Ngoc Chien commune, Son La province) to investigate the act of illegal drug trading.

Exhibits seized at the scene included 9 black plant resin lumps with a pungent smell, total weight of 956.5 grams, the subject confessed to being opium resin; and 7 nylon bags containing 1,274 pink pills of synthetic drugs.
In addition, functional forces also seized 1 motorbike, 1 mobile phone and 380,000 VND in cash.
Initially, Giang A PoLo confessed to buying the above drugs for 20 million VND from a man about 40 years old, unidentified, in Keo Lom village, Lao Hung - Phieng Sa commune, Xieng Kho district, Hua Phan province (Laos).
After receiving the goods, the subject tried to illegally enter the country, transporting drugs into Vietnam through the 235 landmark area to take them for consumption, but was discovered and arrested by the Border Guard.
Previously, on April 13, Long Sap International Border Gate Border Guard Station coordinated with the Professional Task Force, Son La Provincial Border Guard Command also continuously discovered 2 cases of illegal possession of drugs.
In which, functional forces arrested Trang Lao Chu, residing in A La village, Long Sap commune, Son La province, seizing about 0.43 grams of heroin.
At the same time, Hoang Van Dung, residing in A Ma 2 village, Long Sap commune, was also arrested with 2 packets of drugs, including 1.7 grams of heroin and 14 synthetic drug pills.
Currently, the Special Case Committee is continuing to expand the investigation, clarify the line, and pursue the related subjects according to their authority.
Immediately after the special case was dismantled, authorized by the Command of the Border Guard of Son La province, Lieutenant Colonel Nghiem Xuan Nhan, Deputy Head of the Special Case Committee, awarded unexpected rewards to the forces participating in the case to promptly encourage officers and soldiers directly on duty on the border line.
