On September 6, a representative of the People's Committee of Khanh Xuan Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak Province, informed that the 14-year-old female student who was reported missing one day before the opening ceremony of the new school year has returned home safely.
Ms. H (the student’s mother) confirmed that her daughter returned home at 4am this morning. Her daughter went to a friend’s house to play and her body was not injured. The family also took her for a medical check-up and found nothing unusual.
As Lao Dong reported, on September 4, a 14-year-old girl in Dak Lak suddenly went missing before the opening day of the new school year.
On the morning of September 5, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Chung - Chairman of Khanh Xuan Ward People's Committee (Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak Province) - received a report from a local household that a 14-year-old girl had left home and her whereabouts were currently unknown.
Because the daughter did not return, the family tried to contact her but could not, so they went to the ward to report the incident.
