Implementing Resolution No. 205/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly on piloting the People's Procuracy (VKSND) to initiate civil cases to protect the civil rights of vulnerable groups and protect public interests, the VKSND of Region 3 - Da Nang has just supported the settlement of the case of a child who has not been registered for birth for many years.
Previously, through receiving information, the unit verified and discovered that baby girl T.L. G. H, born April 4, 2022 according to the Birth Certificate issued by Da Nang Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, is the child of Ms. L.T. M. T, but has not yet been registered for birth.

The cause was determined to stem from problems with registration of civil status. Specifically, Ms. T has permanent residence in Hanoi but in fact no longer lives in this locality, but is temporarily residing in An Khe ward, Da Nang city. The overlap in residence information caused the birth registration for the baby to be prolonged.
Based on verification and study of the dossier, the People's Procuracy of Region 3 - Da Nang issued a petition, requesting the Chairman of An Khe Ward People's Committee to direct professional departments to guide and complete the dossier and carry out birth registration for the baby in accordance with legal regulations.
Accepting the petition, An Khe Ward People's Committee quickly reviewed the dossier and supported the family to complete the procedures. In just a short time after receiving the information, baby T.L. G. H was issued a birth certificate.
Having a birth certificate not only helps the baby ensure basic personal rights, but also creates conditions to fully access essential rights such as medical care, education and enjoyment of social security policies.

According to records, at the birth certificate handover ceremony, the family representative expressed their emotion and thanked the People's Procuracy of Region 3 - Da Nang and the People's Committee of An Khe Ward for accompanying and removing obstacles so that the baby could soon have legal civil status papers.
