On March 24, information from the Bac Ninh Provincial Inspectorate said that, implementing the 2026 inspection plan, recently, the unit organized the announcement of the inspection decision for the social housing project for workers in Noi Hoang commune, Yen Dung district, Bac Giang province (now Tien Phong ward, Bac Ninh province).
According to the decision, inspections will be conducted on the compliance with policies and laws on land, investment, construction, environment, financial obligations, housing, real estate business and other related contents for the above-mentioned project from the project implementation to the time of inspection.
The inspection period is 45 working days, from the date of announcement of the inspection decision.
Representatives of Fuji Bac Giang Development Joint Stock Company and Vinaco Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company (project investor - PV) expressed their agreement with the inspection plan, committed to strictly complying with the inspection decision, closely coordinating with the inspection team, providing complete information and documents, contributing to the objective, effective and lawful inspection.
According to the reporter's investigation, the social housing project for workers in Noi Hoang commune has a total investment of more than 1,277 billion VND.
The construction scale includes 10 social housing buildings ranging from 6 to 18 floors, with 2,802 apartments. Of which, there are more than 2,400 social housing units for workers to rent.
The project was implemented from July 2020 and completed in December 2023.
Previously, in September 2024, Lao Dong Newspaper published a series of articles reflecting the situation of many foreigners living in some social housing projects in Bac Giang and Bac Ninh provinces (old), including the social housing project for workers in Noi Hoang commune.
After the reflection of Lao Dong Newspaper, local authorities and the investor of the social housing project for workers in Noi Hoang commune have requested foreigners to leave this social housing area.
It is known that Bac Ninh is one of the leading localities in the country in terms of social housing development results. In 2025, the province completed nearly 20,000 social housing units, accounting for about 20% of the country's total supply.
In 2026, Bac Ninh is assigned a target of 19,000 units, higher than Hanoi, but the province sets a target to continue to complete over 20,000 units.
Currently, the construction of social housing in Bac Ninh province continues to take place strongly and comprehensively across all subjects.
