On January 31, Hai Chau Ward People's Committee coordinated with Da Nang Port Border Guard (City Border Guard) to organize the "Border Spring warms people's hearts", "National Border Guard Day" 2026 and launched the movement "All people participate in protecting national territorial sovereignty and border security in the new situation".
Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Van Duy - Chairman of Hai Chau Ward People's Committee shared that this is a program that expresses the spirit of sharing love, joining hands with the whole community so that everyone has a full and warm Tet and spring day.
With that meaning, Hai Chau ward has mobilized units and philanthropists to take care of poor households, near-poor households, and households in difficult circumstances in the ward. In the past time, the locality has received the attention of units and philanthropists from the city to residential areas, supporting hundreds of gifts and money for households in difficult circumstances.

Also at the program, Border Guard officers and soldiers of Da Nang Port Border Gate presented 40 gifts worth 40 million VND to difficult families in the ward and presented 6 gifts to children in the program "Border Guard adopted children and Raising children to school".
On this occasion, the locality awarded certificates of merit from the Da Nang City People's Committee to 1 collective and 1 individual; awarded certificates of merit from the City Fatherland Front Committee to 1 individual; awarded certificates of merit from the Hai Chau Ward People's Committee to 7 collectives and 16 individuals with many achievements in implementing the movement "All people participate in protecting national territorial sovereignty and border security in the new situation" in 2025.
