On November 23, many areas of Dien Dien commune (Khanh Hoa) were still flooded, threatening to wash away and damage a large amount of people's food. In that situation, Battalion 674 (Ministry of Military Command of Military Region 5) deployed dozens of officers and soldiers to village 4 to support the rescue of people's property.
The armed forces organized the transportation of 10 tons of rice and wheat flour from flooded households to high, safe areas. The relocation of food was urgently carried out by vehicles, boats and transportation, in the condition that the water was still flooded in many sections.

According to the report of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, as of November 23, Dien Dien commune still has 87 households with 364 people being isolated due to flooding. Of which, Group 7, Village 1 (Dien Phu Industrial Cluster) still has 3 households with 12 people; Dong 3 village has 71 households (310 people) flooded about 40cm; Phuoc Khanh village, Ninh Phuoc commune recorded 30 households with 122 people affected.

The timely presence of soldiers helps preserve a large amount of food - important stored assets of the people after many losses, contributing to reducing damage in this flood.
