Khanh Hoa - People in Khanh Vinh and Nam Khanh Vinh communes have received warm clothes, clothes and necessary necessities after the flash flood that isolated the area.

On the afternoon of November 22, the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund of Lao Dong in coordination with the Trade Union and the Youth Union of the Office of Khanh Viet Corporation organized a relief gift giving ceremony for people in Khanh Vinh and Nam Khanh Vinh communes.

This is an area that has suffered heavy damage after flash floods and heavy rains in recent days in Khanh Hoa province.

Previously, in the distress message when she had just found her phone signal, Ms. Cao Thi Ngoc Thoa, an officer of Khanh Vinh commune, said: "The power and signal have been out for three days now. I had to go down to Dien Khanh to contact him. People are in dire need of food and provisions. grocery stores were also flooded. Clothes and blankets were also wet, the weather was cold, and the rain lasted for a long time.

Upon receiving the information, on the morning of November 22, the Trade Union and the Youth Union of Khanh Viet Corporation's Office launched a call for cadres, workers and benefactors to contribute clothes, warm blankets and essential food.

The Corporation's Board of Directors also directly supported. In a short time, the group prepared 40 boxes of filtered water, 85 boxes of instant noodles, 100 fur blankets and many types of clothes to deliver to the people. The Golden Heart of Labor Social Charity Fund also contributed 25 more high-end blankets and warm clothes.

All the goods were delivered to people in Khanh Vinh and Nam Khanh Vinh communes.

Mr. Tran Nguyen Thai Binh, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Nam Khanh Vinh commune, said that the flash flood on the afternoon of November 19 caused hundreds of households to suffer heavy damage, many families had all their living items, especially blankets and clothes, swept away.

The weather at night is very cold. The blankets that are available to the people at this time are extremely urgent and valuable, Mr. Binh shared.
