Persevere with your dream and expand your type of tourism
Sharing about his decision to quit his job and return home to work as a gardener, Mr. Loc said that at first he did not receive much support from family and friends, but he still persevered to make his dream of having a garden to grow fruit trees come true. come true.
“When I decided to quit my job, my parents strongly objected, and my colleagues thought I was making an impulsive decision, when my monthly income was stable. Fortunately, my wife is always by my side to support and encourage me, because she understands that I have carefully considered before making any decision," Mr. Loc said sadly.
On 5,000 square meters of renovated land, Mr. Loc built a greenhouse and installed a water-saving irrigation system to optimize vineyard productivity. He also uses biological pesticides and composts from soybeans and golden apple snails in the drip irrigation system to increase resistance and ensure clean, safe quality for the vines.
According to Mr. Loc, people are very curious about the grape farm model, want to experience the feeling of picking grapes directly and see the harmonious landscape of the garden, creating a special attraction. During the first vintage in June 2022, the vineyard sold out within a week of opening.
"From the beginning of 2024, expand production scale by planting lotus varieties on an area of 10 hectares. With the dedication to developing sustainable agriculture combined with local tourism, we hope that growing lotus will not only create high prices. economic value from agricultural products but also become an attractive destination for tourists," Mr. Loc added.
