Lai Chau Provincial Department of Construction has just issued a notice on the termination of traffic diversion and temporary traffic organization at the section from Km354+500 to Km357+100 on National Highway 32 (belonging to Muong Than commune, Lai Chau province).
Previously, in order to ensure safety for people and vehicles during construction and urgently overcome landslide incidents on the route, the Department of Construction had to organize temporary traffic diversion from July 17, 2026.

Up to now, the construction units have basically completed temporary repairs and reopened traffic.
Vehicles participating in traffic can now move and circulate normally through this area.
Previously, at about 4:00 am on July 19, functional forces and Lai Chau Provincial Police also made efforts to successfully open traffic on National Highway 12 (section from Lai Ha to the center of Le Loi commune), completely resolving the serious traffic congestion caused by landslides.
Thus, as of July 20, the main traffic roads connecting to the center of Muong Than commune have basically been completely cleared.
Ensuring smooth traffic at this time is of particular importance, helping local authorities, functional forces and relief teams promptly access the scene.
From there, rescue and relief work will be accelerated as well as support people to soon stabilize their lives after the recent flash flood.
