On August 31, Mr. Phan The Hanh, Director of the Lam Dong Provincial Department of Finance, said that the locality had allocated 375 billion VND to 124 communes, wards, and special areas of Phu Quy to pay gifts of 100,000 VND/person on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
"The allocation of 375 billion VND to communes, wards and special zones of Phu Quy was implemented by the province on August 30. Currently, many localities have organized payments to people through direct forms and bank transfers, Mr. Phan The Hanh informed.
According to records, on the afternoon of August 31, the People's Committee of Cat Tien commune established 5 working groups to directly go to the area of 5 villages of the commune to carry out procedures and pay gifts to the people.
Ms. Tran The Ngoc, Chairman of Cat Tien Commune People's Committee shared: "By 5:00 p.m. the same day, the locality had completed the payment of about 70%. We will review, continue to implement the remaining ones and expect to complete them by 10:00 p.m. today.
Also on the same day, some localities in Lam Dong province such as Da Teh 3 commune, Dinh Van - Lam Ha commune, Binh Thuan ward started paying gifts to people.
Meanwhile, some other localities have planned to establish working groups, complete procedures to pay gifts to people on September 1 and September 2 according to regulations.
