On the morning of September 1, the People's Committee of Tan Lap commune (Quang Tri province) confirmed that up to this point, 80% of local people have received a gift of 100,000 VND on the occasion of National Day September 2. On September 1, Tan Lap commune continued to give gifts to the remaining households, ensuring completion within the day.
Among the people receiving the 2.9 gift, there was a case that had just been born and named Ho Quoc Khanh.

Previously, on the afternoon of August 31, Ms. Ho Thi Loc (Trin Cheng village, Tan Lap) and her husband went to receive gifts on September 2 at Huong Loc Health Station (Tan Lap commune). After receiving 3 gifts, Ms. Loc suddenly had a stomachache, so she went back to Huong Loc Medical Station for a check-up.
Ms. Ho Thi Thuong - Head of Huong Loc Health Station - said that after examination, it was determined that Ms. Loc was pregnant, so doctors and nurses assisted the mother in giving birth right at the station. At 5:40 p.m. on August 31, a cute baby boy was born, this is the second child of a young couple from the Van Kieu ethnic minority group.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai Ly - Vice Chairman of Tan Lap Commune People's Committee - said that when Ms. Loc gave birth at the station, she and Tan Lap Commune officials were giving gifts of September 2 to the people. Knowing this information, Ms. Ly requested the Health Station, Police and commune officials to support the birth certificate, enter population data, and add a list of gifts for September 2 to the baby.

At 6:30 p.m. the same day, Ms. Ly and the officials of Tan Lap commune directly visited and gave the baby at the health station a gift of 100,000 VND on the occasion of National Day 2.9.
Mr. Ho Van Chai - Mrs. Loc's husband - said that his family was very happy that their son had just been born and was supported by staff to prepare documents to receive the National Day gift in time.
"When I became pregnant and went to the health station, I had not yet prepared anything but was supported by doctors and nurses. The child was just born and continued to be given gifts by commune officials. At that time, Mr. Lam Quang Sang - Deputy Head of the Department of Culture - Social Affairs - jokingly said that it would be very meaningful if the child born on this occasion was named Quoc Khanh in 2 days. Hearing that, I thanked him and decided to name his newborn son Ho Quoc Khanh" - Mr. Ho Van Chai shared.
