The incident occurred on September 11.
According to Captain Le Dang Hoa, at around 4:30 p.m. on September 11, he and Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Duc Tam - an officer of Road Traffic Police Team No. 6 were on duty at the Pham Hung - Tran Duy Hung intersection (Hanoi) when suddenly a taxi driver ran over to offer help.
At this time, the taxi driver said that the woman was carrying a woman to My Dinh bus station when she reached the intersection, and that woman suddenly showed signs of convulsions.
Captain Hoa said that the process was very fast at that time, he only had time to ask the driver and the woman two questions and learned that the patient had just been vaccinated at Hospital K, then called a car to return home and showed the above signs on the road.
"I think taking the victim to K Hospital is the best option now because the patient has just been vaccinated there. I immediately reported to the commander and quickly discussed with the taxi driver so that he could drive the woman, and the traffic police team would guide me," said Captain Hoa.
According to Captain Hoa, it was during the afternoon rush hour, so the road was very crowded, he and Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Duc Tam tried to guide the taxi to take the shortest distance, fastest time, some sections had to run red lights, go in the wrong direction...
The distance from the victim to the hospital is about 8km, the travel time is about 10 minutes. When arriving at the hospital lobby, Captain Hoa grabbed the woman and ran into the emergency room.
"When we took the woman to the emergency room, we were temporarily reassured. At this time, we tried to contact the woman's relatives.
Over the phone, the woman's husband said that her name was Vu Thi Thu, from Lao Cai, and she was currently being treated at K Hospital. After being told the whole incident, Ms. Thu's husband expressed his gratitude and sent a message of thanks to the traffic police team and the taxi driver," said Captain Le Dang Hoa.
