At noon on August 5th, a tragic drowning occurred in the area of the fishing boat anchorage in La Gi ward (Lam Dong province), killing an 18-month-old baby.
According to initial information, at the above time, baby H.N. T (born in 2025) was taken to the fishing port by relatives. While relatives were focusing on work, the child left the view.
A few minutes later, relatives returned but did not see the baby, so they shouted for everyone to search. After discovering the child in the water, everyone quickly took him ashore for first aid, but the victim did not survive.
After the incident, the family took the baby's body home to take care of the funeral.
The drowning incident continues to be a warning to families with young children, especially when taking children to areas near rivers, seas, wharves, ponds or water storage facilities.
