According to initial information, the fire occurred at about 3 pm on December 28th in the warehouse area of a coffee and tea production company in the Cau Dat area, Xuan Truong ward - Da Lat (Lam Dong).
At this time, some workers discovered a fire breaking out in the warehouse area, so they shouted for help, and at the same time used on-site fire extinguishing equipment to put out the fire but were unsuccessful.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Team of Area 1 Da Lat (Fire and Rescue Police Department, Lam Dong Provincial Police) mobilized dozens of officers and soldiers and many fire trucks to quickly arrive at the scene.
Here, professional fire fighting forces coordinated with grassroots forces to organize water spraying to control the fire, and at the same time relocated goods, assets and machinery to a safe area.
By about 4 pm on the same day, the fire was controlled and completely extinguished. The fire did not cause any casualties.
Initially, local authorities determined that the fire caused many goods to be burned down and damaged. Part of the toilet roof and walls of the warehouse area also collapsed.
Currently, functional agencies are conducting scene examination, statistics of damage and investigating to clarify the cause of the incident.
