According to initial information, the fire occurred at about 2 pm on September 22, at a warehouse section opposite No. 956 Bach Dang (Hanoi) - near the foot of Vinh Tuy bridge.
Immediately upon receiving the news, functional forces quickly arrived to deploy firefighting and prevent fire from spreading. The fire created a column of smoke that could be seen from very far away.
Many Fire and Rescue Police Teams were dispatched to the scene.
According to witnesses at the scene, when the fire was discovered, many people ran to help bring goods inside the warehouse out.
By more than 3 pm on the same day, the fire was basically under control. Functional forces continued to spray water to cool down and prevent it from rekindling.
