Patient N.Q. T. (male, 15 years old) was admitted to the hospital in a state of scattered burns in the face, chest, abdomen and limbs. The patient suffered respiratory burns, 2-3 degree fire burns of about 45%, was given oxygen through a mask, intravenous fluids, antibiotics, pain relief and bronchoscopy. The patient is being treated at the Burns - Plastic Surgery Department. Representatives of the hospital said that the victim is being actively monitored and has poor health.
The remaining two female patients are N.T. T. T. (female, born in 1988) and N.P. T. (female, born in 2011). Both were awake, covered in soot and burned in the face and two hands.
Among them, N.T. T. T. suffered respiratory burns, degree 1-2 fire burns of about 15%, was given oxygen through a mask, intravenous fluids, antibiotics, pain relief and bronchoscopy. The patient was treated at the Burns - Plastic Surgery Department.
N.P. T. suffered respiratory burns, degree 1-2 fire burns of about 10%, was given oxygen through a mask, intubated, infused with fluids, used antibiotics, pain relievers and bronchoscopy. The patient is being treated at the Emergency Resuscitation Department of Zone D.
For patient N.Q. V. T. (male, born in 1983) when admitted to the provincial hospital but slow, face covered in soot. The patient suffered degree 2 burns scattered in the face, chest, abdomen and limbs, area of about 30%. The patient was diagnosed with degree 2 respiratory burns, degree 2 fire burns of about 30%, was placed in an endotracheal tube, ventilated, infused with fluids, used antibiotics, pain relievers and bronchoscopy. Currently, the patient is being treated in Zone B.
Previously, at about 1:25 am on September 17, people discovered a fire at a house in an alley on Pham Huu Chi street, shouted for help, put out the fire and reported to the functional forces. There were 7 people inside the house; PC07 Ho Chi Minh City Police coordinated with forces to extinguish the fire at about 2:30 am, taking 5 people out to transfer to the hospital. The house fire killed 2 people and injured 5 others. Currently, the police are continuing to investigate and clarify the cause of the incident.
