In the afternoon of May 21, a large fire occurred at a warehouse located on DS10 street, Xuan Thoi Son commune, Ho Chi Minh City, causing many properties to be burned down.
Initial information, at about 2 pm on the same day, some workers were working inside the workshop when they discovered fierce smoke and fire erupting from the goods storage area. Screams quickly rang out everywhere, many people hurriedly fled the fire area.


To limit damage, many workers used mini fire extinguishers to put out the fire on the spot. Some others moved their property to a safe place.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Police force of Ho Chi Minh City Police dispatched many fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to deploy fire fighting operations.
At the scene, functional forces divided into many directions, using high-pressure water cannons to isolate the fire and prevent the fire from spreading to surrounding residential areas.

After more than 30 minutes of approaching the scene, the fire was basically under control. However, the fire caused part of the factory to collapse, and many assets inside were burned down.
Currently, the cause of the fire and property damage are being statistically analyzed and investigated by functional agencies to clarify.
