On the afternoon of October 16, Hai Phong City Police informed that at 11:25 a.m. the same day, the leaders of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department received information from Center 114 about the fire at Minh Thang motel, located at 196 Le Thanh Tong Street, May Chai Ward, Ngo Quyen District, Hai Phong. Immediately after that, the Department mobilized forces and vehicles from the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Area 1, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team - Ngo Quyen District Police and May Chai Ward Police to urgently go to the scene to put out the fire.
At the scene, the police force deployed a firefighting team starting from the third floor bedroom of the three-story house, each floor has an area of about 92 square meters. Participating in the firefighting was the Security and Order Protection Team, which actively supported the police force. By 11:37 a.m. the same day, the police force had extinguished the fire with an area of about 8 square meters.
Initially, no casualties were determined. Ngo Quyen District Police have estimated property damage and are currently investigating the cause of the fire according to regulations.
