In the early morning of April 7, a fire occurred in Binh Minh commune. Functional forces promptly arrived and rescued 2 trapped people.
Information from the Fire and Rescue Police Department of Hanoi Police said that at about 1:16 am on April 7, the unit received a fire report at a house at No. 249, Thuong village, Binh Minh commune.
Immediately after receiving the news, the Command Information Center of Hanoi City Police dispatched 4 fire trucks and 24 officers and soldiers from Fire and Rescue Teams in areas 4 and 33 to the scene.
At the scene, the fire broke out from the 1st floor area, emitting a lot of smoke and toxic gas, with the risk of spreading to the upper floors.
Through reconnaissance, functional forces determined that there were people trapped inside. The fire commander directed officers and soldiers to use breathing tubes and specialized equipment to approach the floors to organize search and rescue.
At the same time, firefighting teams were deployed from many directions to control and prevent the fire from spreading.
By about 1:43 am on the same day, the fire was completely extinguished. The fire did not cause any casualties, nor did it spread to neighboring houses or upper floors.
Functional forces promptly rescued and brought the 2 trapped people out safely.
The cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
