Early in the afternoon of April 4, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Minh - Deputy Head of Trieu Van Border Guard Station (Quang Tri Border Guard) said that the unit is coordinating with forces to deploy fire fighting at a factory in the area.
Previously, at 12:10 on April 4, Trieu Van Border Guard Station received a report of a fire at the warehouse of the Seafood Processing Factory of Elites Viet - Trung International Allied Seafood Company Limited (Phu Hoi village, Trieu Tan commune, Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri province).
Border guards sent forces to the scene, coordinating with local authorities and functional forces such as the Police, Navy, and local military to actively extinguish the fire.
As of 1:45 p.m. the same day, the fire had not been extinguished.
It is known that the warehouse of the Seafood Processing Factory of Elites Vietnam - China International Seafood Co., Ltd. has been suspended for about a year now.
